This product includes a programmable CDI and associated software that allows you to customize the ignition curve according to your engine configuration and personal preferences.
FOR MAXIMUM POWER, WE COUNT ON COOPERATION BETWEEN PVL AND STAGE6
Just like with the previous model, the hardware is supplied by PVL:
1x Ignition inner rotor,
1x Ignition Stator,
1x programmable CDI with variable advance,
1x Ignition coil with spark plug wire about 40 cm,
1x Ignition board,
1x Water pump and cooling turbine plate,
1x Ground wire,
1x Screw kit,
1x PVL reprogramming kit.
Stage6 brings its expertise to the software level by developing the ignition curves. This design is the result of their extensive experience, gained through countless test bench sessions and many years of presence on the racetrack.
It is an essential resource for racing scooters and tuning projects, especially when the goal is to get the most power from your vertical Minarelli or horizontal Minarelli engine.
PROGRAMMABLE CDI FOR BOOSTER AND NITRO
If you don't want or can't program the CDI, no problem because the Stage6 R/T MK2 ignition gives you 3 options to choose from!
Option 1: Mount the CDI as is and benefit from the basic curve.
Option 2: Mount the CDI by connecting the green wire of the CDI to ground to benefit from the Race curve.
Option 3: The third option is to customize the ignition curve yourself by programming the CDI. All necessary instructions are included in the USB stick that comes with the reprogramming kit.
And if you want more power, you have the option of adding a flywheel to attach to the ignition rotor. This modification will allow you to increase inertia at high rpm.
S6 R/T IGNITION NOTES AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
Being a competition ignition, the Stage6 R/T MK2 does NOT provide 12V power for lighting. Therefore, it will be necessary to provide a battery to power the headlights.
This part is not compatible with Malossi MHR Team crankshafts.
We recommend fitting a competition spark plug and installing a circuit breaker to cut the ignition.
It is essential to ensure the presence of a ground wire between the engine housing and the chassis.
