The NCY Performance AC CDI is the ignition management module.
It receives the AC current produced by the stator, interprets the signal from the pickup coil, and controls the precise timing of the spark to the ignition coil.
Compared to an OEM CDI, this model uses a different advance map, designed for a more responsive GY6 engine, without relying on the battery.
