                  Racing reed assemblies feature an optimised inlet diameter and a gasflowed shape. The Racing reed has a lower flowing resistance than the standard one thus allowing a larger volume of fresh mixture to enter the crankcase. This results in a more efficient transfer to the cylinder which in turn results in a higher power output. Particularly recommended in conjunction with a larger carb.

This construction of the double V-reeds is patented and thanks to its huge inlet diameter and an optimized airflow, it provides much better filling of the crankcase. The valve comes with 0.3mm thick 90° carbon reeds and a 28mm stuffer. Attention! The crankcase must be modified at the intake for the reed valve to fit.

                  The Big Evolution reed valve from Polini is a big valve reed block with larger intake area. It's a two-piece design with CNC-machined, anodised fixing plate. Comes with 0.3mm thick carbon reeds. In order to use this valve, you will have to open the engine block to a width of 39.5mm. Optimised for 24mm to 28mm carburettors. Attention: due to the increased diameter, the crankcase will need re-working to fit this part.
