The GY6 adjustable AC CDI is an ignition control module that allows manual adjustment of the ignition timing.
It receives AC current from the stator, processes the signal from the pickup coil, and then triggers the ignition coil according to a user-adjustable advance.
Unlike a fixed CDI, this model allows for precise timing adjustment, used to tailor the ignition to a specific engine configuration.
