The new generation BIG BORE engine. Solid cylinders, only for liquid-cooled scooters (7 ports and exhaust crosshead - 1-ring piston - modular cylinder head - mandatory bore of the original crankcase or the Malossi C-One crankcase - crankshaft with connecting rod different from the original one). Derived directly from the seven-port technology, which powers the revolutionary Flanged Mount, the BIG BORE Testa Rossa cylinders represent the latest success achieved thanks to the efforts and studies that Malossi has continued to dedicate to engines intended for the original Piaggio and Yamaha crankcases and, with their unprecedented displacement of 94 cc, they allow the BIG BORE family to take a significant leap forward. Externally almost indistinguishable from their flanged counterparts, the BIG BORE Testa Rossa cylinders feature a stud frame compatible with both the original engines and the Malossi C-One crankcase. The interior is also completely similar to the Flanged Mounts, thanks to the famous seven-port configuration and a double exhaust port, the only difference being the limits set by the internal passage of the bolts which affect the size and development of the exhaust. The head is again modular, with new internal profiles specifically designed to increase the torque and feel of the engine, now much brighter and even more progressive. The cylinder head cover is made of forged aluminum, anodized red and turned in high-precision CNC machines.
