Stage6 Exhaust Silencer Wool

Stage6 Silencer Packing

We offer here a silencer packing material from the brand Stage6: the Super Silent, sold in a 150g bag, for maximum soundproofing.

With the Super Silent packing from Stage6, we offer high-quality racing packing material with the best insulation and temperature resistance properties.

Tips for replacing the packing
For good soundproofing and extended service life, the quantity used (the density of the packing) is essential. Since the packing material is not a continuous mat, it can be removed individually and the silencer can be filled easily. However, please keep the following guidelines in mind.

Packing not compact enough:
If the soundproofing seems correct at first, the packing will quickly burn and leave an empty space: the soundproofing becomes ineffective in a very short time.

Packing too compact:
The packing is very durable, but fails to absorb noise correctly. The exhaust may be louder than before!

Attention:
Do not wrap too tightly and do not press too hard. Once the cartridge is completely filled, the material should still be compressible by 2 to 3 cm! There must therefore be some 'play' in the silencer! Install the end cap, and seal if necessary with heat-resistant silicone.
