The transmission is one of the key components of a scooter. The Malossi MHR Aluminum Over Range kit is designed to improve engine efficiency and power while ensuring longevity and flexibility in tuning.
The focus of the new transmission kit remains the constantly evolving Malossi Multivar variator, which comes with 2 sets of rollers to adjust the transmission's operation according to your needs. Furthermore, given the vast selection of rollers available in the catalog, the possibilities for customizing the settings are virtually endless.
Inside the variator, the roller ramp profiles have been redesigned to maximize transmission balance. Malossi didn't stop there; they also overhauled the hub, which, in addition to chrome plating and grinding, undergoes a vibro-finishing treatment, one of the most recent and avant-garde mirror-finishing techniques.
For the first time, the Ventilvar fixed half-pulley is included with the Malossi Multivar MHR Aluminum variator.
On the other side of the crankcase is the new Malossi Rear Pulley System MHR Aluminum torque driver, now made of aluminum to increase lightness and strength. The pulley is riveted to the hub to optimize grip, and the tolerance between the hub and the bushing has been reduced to a roughness level of barely Ra.04.
The torque driver is made of aluminum, an exceptional material for heat dissipation, and has undergone a micro-drilling process to increase the drive belt's grip and to keep it clean and efficient by ejecting debris glazed by heat.
The Malossi X K Belt, based on technology adopted for maxi-scooter belts, features an extremely reduced cross-section designed for 2-stroke racing scooters, ensuring grip and consistent performance.
The Furia Rossa, a.k.a. the Red Fury, is Malossi's new ultimate variation kit, the result of many hours of work by their engineers.
The most striking point of this new version is the aluminum torque driver (TD).
This kit is suitable for all Midrace to High End configurations. It allows you to exploit the full power of your engine, whether at takeoff, mid-range, or top speed. The 19x15.5 rollers are particularly suitable for Minarelli Horizontal crankcase users; the rollers wear out much less quickly and their wear does not affect the variator's performance, unlike variators with smaller rollers that cause flat spots during acceleration when wear is too significant.
