Stage6 13/39 primary gear kit for Piaggio NRG
We offer a Stage6 Z=13/39 (3.00) primary gear kit for scooters with Piaggio engines. This is a pre-pressed long gear kit (no press required).

• For Piaggio engines from 1998 onwards, with a bearing in the transmission cover
  
• Gear ratio: 13/39 (1:3.00)
  
• For scooters with 12" and 13" tires or 10" with "balloon" tires (Typhoon / TPH)
  
• On small 10" wheels (Zip), the ratio will appear shorter, so it will not increase top speed but rather acceleration.

Note: for vehicles manufactured after August 1998, the shaft on which the torque drive is located is also supported by a bearing in the transmission cover. Please check before ordering!

Changing the gear ratio
To lengthen the final gear ratio, you need a longer gearbox. If the engine has enough power to pull the longer gear ratio, the top speed will also increase. Standard cylinders do not have the necessary power for a long gear ratio, which is why they can only be used in combination with tuning cylinders. Unlike competing long gear kits, Stage6 kits are already pre-pressed and at an unbeatable price.

Info: To calculate the percentage of lengthening, you need to know the gear ratio of both transmissions (original and long). If you divide the long gear ratio by the original one, subtract 1, and multiply the result by -100, you get the percentage of lengthening.

Example: ((2.56 : 3.07)-1) x (-100) = 16.62%

Please note that the lower the gear ratio value, the longer the gearing!!!
