Design choices for Stage6 springs
These springs are available with different spring rates (spring stiffness). Generally, it is the thickness of the coils that varies from one version to another.

Maintaining belt tension plays an important role in the CVT system. If the spring is too soft, the belt may slip. If the spring is too stiff, it may bind. In both cases, you will notice an issue with power transmission. It is therefore an important component that should not be overlooked during tuning.

The springs are made of carbon-containing silicon steel and are heat-treated, which, combined with the precision surface coating, results in a high-quality, low-wear product.
