Stage6 variator shims allow you to fine-tune your variator settings and improve performance.

Adjusting the variator and clutch is essential for achieving optimal belt movement and excellent acceleration. To adapt the variator to the width of the drive belt and thus achieve excellent acceleration, you will need these washers. The shims are used to "lengthen" the boss, which allows the belt to sit in the lowest possible position (without the belt slipping). The lower the belt, the better the acceleration. These small washers are placed between the fixed pulley and the boss, which moves the pulley outwards, with the distance depending on the shim used. You will likely need to try different sizes to find the optimal setting, but once you have found it, you will be amazed at how much a perfectly tuned variator can improve performance. The effort is definitely worth it!
