This OEM Adly Internal Circlip is an internal retaining ring used in transmissions, as shown in the Transmission section of the OEM Adly diagram.
Its function is to:
axially retain a component (bearing, gear, shaft)
prevent longitudinal movement within a bore
secure the internal assembly of the transmission
ensure stable mechanical alignment under load and vibration
The circlip sits in a machined internal groove. Its diameter, thickness, and elastic limit are critical for mechanical safety.
