This Wing Bell design was developed by Malossi. The outer cooling ribs give more form stability so that distortions and unbalances can be prevented. Furthermore, it cools the bell down by about 70deg Celsius. Using the wing bell contributes to a longer life of the clutch and a reduction in clutch slip due to a hot engine.
