We offer you here a high-performance cylinder kit for air-cooled Minarelli Horizontal engines: The Stage6 Racing MKII, one of the most powerful in the Racing range!

Stage6 MK2 Racing design and performance
Design details
The successor to the MK1, the MK2 has been completely redesigned to further improve performance.

• 6 optimized transfer ports for better cylinder filling
  
• 190°-130° port timings
  
• Domed piston with a 0.8 mm ring: improved heat dissipation
  
• Thermal properties improved in all areas (materials, water jacket, etc.)
  
• Bridge exhaust port, pentagonal shape with internal cooling ribs
  
• One-piece cylinder head with molded coolant channels
  

Stated performance
With the appropriate configuration, this cylinder can develop between 17 and 19 horsepower, without any additional modification. An experienced tuner can take it to over 20 horsepower.

We recommend installing the following parts, both to achieve the stated power and to make the engine reliable:

• Reinforced crankshaft
  
• Carburetor of at least 21 mm
  
• Racing-range exhaust
  
• Inner rotor ignition (optional)

Assembly
The squish should be between 0.75 and 0.85. The cylinder should be broken in for approximately 300 km with a 1:33 fuel mixture to improve its robustness and longevity.

Caution:

• Original exhausts cannot be mounted with this cylinder.
  
• The temperature sensor (including the thread) must not exceed 18 mm in length, otherwise it risks hitting the cylinder head.
