Stage6 Racing MK2 Nitro 70 Kit
Here we offer the Stage6 Racing 70cc MK2 cylinder kit with a 10mm piston pin for Minarelli horizontal LC scooters. The successor to the famous Stage6 70cc Racing cylinder is called Stage6 Racing MKII 70cc and comes out of the box in a completely revised version with more power.
Stage6 MK2 Cylinder: Racing Design
The aluminum cylinder with a highly resistant hard chrome coating has been completely redesigned. A new transfer port design (6 instead of 5) improves cylinder filling. Instead of a flat piston, it now features an R/T piston replica with an 0.8 mm ring and a domed piston crown to optimize performance and improve thermal resistance. Thermally, the cylinder has been optimized at all levels. A generous two-part exhaust port; a pentagonal design and internal cooling fins; a cylinder head with one-piece cooling channels - to name just a few improvements. The timing is 190°-130°.
Stage6 MK 2 Racing Cylinder Power
The cylinder delivers 2 to 3 hp more than the MK1, reaching 17 to 19 hp, without treatment, in combination with corresponding components. There is still enough material for preparation to achieve over 20 hp. Definitely one of the most powerful 70cc kits on the market!
For maximum reliability on highly tuned engines, we recommend using the version with a 12mm piston pin (S6-7416608).
To fully exploit the potential of this cylinder, we recommend using a reinforced crankshaft, a carburetor of at least 21mm, and a racing exhaust system.
Stage6 Racing MK2 Cylinder Kit Installation Tips
We recommend cleaning the engine before assembly, checking the condition of all components, and using a new spark plug and piston pin bearing. Don't forget to adjust your carburetor settings to avoid seizure.
Squish should be between 0.75 and 0.85. The cylinder should be broken in for approximately 300 km with a 1:33 mixture to improve robustness and longevity.
Warning:
- Original exhaust systems cannot be mounted on this cylinder.
- The temperature sensor must not exceed 18mm in length, including the thread, otherwise, it may hit the cylinder head.
