Stage6 R/T MK2 Inner Rotor Ignition for Booster and Nitro
Find here the Stage6 R/T MK2 inner rotor ignition designed for MBK Booster and Nitro. This product comes with a programmable CDI that gives you the flexibility to adjust the ignition curve according to your engine setup and individual preferences.
For maximum power, we rely on the cooperation between PVL and Stage6
Just like with the previous model, the hardware is provided by PVL:
- 1x Inner rotor ignition,
- 1x Ignition stator,
- 1x Programmable CDI with variable advance,
- 1x Ignition coil with spark plug wire of approximately 40 cm,
- 1x Ignition base plate,
- 1x Base plate for water pump and cooling fan,
- 1x Ground wire,
- 1x Bolt kit.
Stage6 contributes its software expertise by developing the ignition curves. This design is the result of their extensive experience, gained through countless test bench sessions and many years of presence on race tracks.
It is an essential resource for racing scooters and tuning projects, especially when the goal is to get the most power out of your vertical or horizontal Minarelli engine.
Programmable Ignition for Nitro and Booster
If you do not want to or cannot program the CDI, no problem, because the Stage6 R/T MK2 ignition offers you a choice of 3 options!
- Option 1: Install the CDI as is and benefit from the base curve.
- Option 2: Install the CDI by connecting the green wire of the CDI to ground to benefit from the Race curve.
- Option 3: The third option is to customize the ignition curve yourself by programming the CDI. For this last option, you will need the Stage6 R/T programming kit.
And if you want more power, you have the option of adding an inertia plate to attach to the ignition rotor. This modification will allow you to increase inertia at high RPMs.
Notes and recommendations regarding the Stage6 R/T ignition:
- As it is a competition ignition, the Stage6 R/T MK2 does NOT provide 12V power for lighting. Therefore, it will be necessary to provide a battery to power the headlights.
- We recommend installing a racing spark plug as well as a kill switch to cut the ignition.
- It is essential to ensure there is a ground wire between the engine casing and the chassis.
