As you know, vertical engines are restricted in terms of intake by a very compact reed valve box. To "derestrict" these reed valves, Stage6 has developed this Big Valve intake which allows for a larger reed valve box, resulting in better filling of your engine crankcase.

Specifically, installing a big valve will increase your machine's performance, especially at high RPMs.

Big valve intake kit contents:

• Aluminum base plate
• Stage6 reed valve box
• Aluminum manifold with vacuum port
• 24mm diameter rubber connection (for 12 to 21mm carburetors)
• Paper gasket

You can, of course, fit larger diameter carburetors, but you will need to purchase a larger diameter sleeve separately (see spare parts).

Compatible with carburetors with 24 and 25 mm connections

• Dellorto 12-21mm Type PHVA / PHBN / PHBG
• Polini CP 17.5-21mm
• Gurtner and Weber 12-16mm
• TK 12-16mm
• Arreche 16-21mm

Note: The connection diameter is measured on the carburetor. The manifold is generally smaller but expands.
