The spark plug wire with suppressor, also known as the ignition cable or spark plug wire, is a vital electrical component that transmits the electrical energy emitted by the ignition to the spark plug. This transmission generates a spark that causes the air-fuel mixture to ignite inside the combustion chamber.
The spark plug wire consists of a 50 cm long copper cable. This cable is surrounded by an insulating material designed to prevent electrical interference. The entire assembly is protected by a layer of red silicone. The suppressor, at a 90-degree angle, is then coated with an insulating rubber protection that is resistant to water and moisture.
When replacing the spark plug, we also recommend installing a new spark plug as a complement.
