The Taida 16/37 +25% Secondary Gear Kit is a high-performance secondary gear set designed for the final drive of scooters equipped with GY6 125cc to 150cc engines (e.g., Honda Ruckus GY6, Kymco, PGO, SYM). It replaces the original secondary gears with a 16/37 ratio, resulting in a final drive ratio approximately 25% shorter than the original.
The secondary gear set consists of a 16-tooth pinion mounted on the CVT output shaft and a 37-tooth sprocket attached to the rear drum or hub. This ratio acts as the final drive multiplier for the output shaft to the rear wheel, directly influencing traction, acceleration, and responsiveness.
