Stage6 MKII 4-Piston Brake Caliper
High braking power with this Stage6 R/T MK2 4-piston caliper.
Discover the improved MK2 version of the Stage6 R/T brake caliper, the successor to the popular MK1 4-piston caliper. German engineering meets maximum braking performance. Available in orange, black, and hard anodized (highly scratch-resistant).

PLEASE NOTE: for installation, you will also need a mounting bracket / adapter. Brackets for the MK1 version are not compatible without modification. Mounting brackets are available for most common models.

Technical improvements of the Stage6 R/T MK2 brake caliper:

1. The new design offers a 20% larger braking surface than the previous version.
   
2. For easier use, the banjo bolt and bleeder screw are now independent of each other.
   
3. Added a brake pad spring for increased responsiveness of the braking system.
   

Why install a 4-piston caliper on your motorcycle or scooter?

Installing a 4-piston brake caliper on a motorcycle or scooter can offer several advantages in terms of performance and safety:

1. They offer greater braking capacity than 2-piston calipers, giving you better brake modulation. This means you can control your braking more precisely.
   
2. They offer better heat resistance and therefore a longer service life than standard brake calipers. This can be particularly important if you ride regularly or engage in sporty riding.
   

However, it is important to note that mounting a 4-piston caliper may require additional modifications to your motorcycle, scooter, maxiscooter, or moped. In 90% of cases, a mounting bracket is necessary to adapt it to your front or rear braking system.
If you already have a Stage6 mounting bracket, slight machining of the adapter may be necessary due to the new shape of the caliper.

For even more powerful braking, you can combine it with the Stage6 R/T brake master cylinders: S6-1400401 and S61400400

Note: The Stage6 R/T brake caliper comes with standard-type brake pads. However, we recommend using racing pads (sintered metal or ceramic) for maximum braking performance → + 50% compared to standard pads.

Technical specifications of the Stage6 MK2 radial brake caliper:

• CNC-machined 4-piston radial brake caliper made from high-strength 6061 aluminum
  
• Piston diameter: 25mm, made of CNC stainless steel
  
• Center mounting bolt (Torx 27) for the brake pad with C-clip locking device
  
• Separate bleeder screw on the back of the caliper for easier bleeding
  
• Caliper bolt spacing: 82mm, M8 mounting bolts
  
• Color: Hard anodized (brown/bronze), orange, or black
  

It is imperative to fully bleed your brake system when installing the Stage6 R/T caliper.
